Experience

I've been a school/licensed educational psychologist for 34+ years, working in early intervention, special education, and prevention/promotion in general education. Trained and experienced in crisis intervention. Well-versed in children's learning and mental health; with special emphasis on early development, families, and staff who serve this population. Endorsed in California as an Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist. Currently working as an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (IECMHC) and Faculty for California IECMHC Training Project through WestEd. Workshop, webinar, and conference presenter on a variety of topics, including: Special Education/Early Intervention; Understanding Behavior; Attachment; Trauma-Informed Practices; Resilience; and more.
