- Providing an understanding of the laws and regulations governing special education behavior and discipline.
- Providing an in-depth discussion of the requirements and decision-making process at a manifestation determination meeting.
- Providing references to legal decisions illustrating various special education manifestation determination hearing decisions.
- Providing guidance regarding legally defensible practices in conducting a functional behavioral assessment and functional analysis assessment and developing a behavior support/intervention plan.
