California Association of School Psychologists Names Paul Cauchi as its Executive Director

The California Association of School Psychologists (CASP) is pleased to welcome its new Executive Director, Paul Cauchi. Mr. Cauchi is a seasoned association management professional with 20 years of experience in growing program development, modernizing communications, and accelerating membership growth.

Having previously served as CEO of the Southland Regional Association of REALTORS® (SRAR) and as Chief of Commercial for MIAMI REALTORS®, Mr. Cauchi led multiple strategic plans and initiatives alongside Boards of Directors, staff executives, and other volunteer leaders with results-based outcomes. He expanded membership by 10% annually, increased member newsletter open rates by 60%, and generated revenue and fundraising gains by 20%.

With a proven track record for successful growth, member engagement, and communication modernization, Mr. Cauchi is driven to further CASP’s mission of empowering school psychologists and Licensed Educational Psychologists (LEPs) to strengthen educational systems and the students they serve.

“I am incredibly excited to join CASP as its new Executive Director,” stated Mr. Cauchi. “This is an amazing opportunity to serve the nearly 2,000 members and partner with the leaders, staff professionals, and other stakeholders. I can’t wait to make an immediate impact by advocating for members and providing the education, resources, and tools they need to care for our children throughout California.”

Mr. Cauchi enjoys playing music, cooking, hiking, and spending time with his amazing wife Magdalena, and two children, Karolina and Jacob.

We are confident he will guide us into an exciting new chapter.” The 2,000-member California Association of School Psychologists (CASP) represents school psychologists and licensed educational psychologists (LEPs) in California. The CASP mission is to foster the well-being of the children, schools, and communities they serve through legislative advocacy, professional development, communications, publications, ethics guidelines, and direct services to members.
