CASP Partners with CDPH to Support Student Behavioral Health

CASP is proud to partner with the California Department of Public Health and other statewide leaders to launch Recognize, Respond, Connect: Supporting the Behavioral Health of Our Students (RRC), a free, 50-minute, self-paced training for school staff serving grades 7 through 12.

Aligned with California Education Code Section 49428.2(c), the training equips trusted adults with practical tools to recognize signs of distress, respond with empathy, and connect students to appropriate supports. CASP members Dr. Margaret Sedor and Dorothy Guinter helped guide the development of this landmark initiative.
