Suicide is a leading cause of death among school-age youth, and school psychologists play a vital role in preventing suicidal behavior. In support of this role, this webinar will review the suicide risk factors (variables that increase the likelihood of suicide) and warning signs (indicators that a student is contemplating suicide). It will also examine the factors that protect students from suicidal thoughts and actions.
