Experience
Dr. Artis Callaham-Boston, Having been a consummate elementary and secondary teacher, counselor, school psychologist, and district-level administrator, she has subscribed to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Pedagogy. Dr. Callaham has developed effective programs implemented in various schools using multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression. A pedagogy based on the architectural concept of designing for few, providing access to all! She currently serves as the Director of Special Education and Support Services for Magnolia Public Schools with schools located from the Los Angeles Valley to San Diego, CA. Dr. Callaham has also worked on the school development teams of Dr. Pedro A. Noguera in support of developing exemplary Special Education programs.
