Experience

I currently hold the title of Professor in the School Psychology Program at California State University, Sacramento. Here I train graduate students in the competencies they need to become credentialed school psychologists in the state of California.

Prior to starting at CSUS in 2016, I served children, families, and educators in a variety of school psychology-associated roles. For five years, I served as a school psychologist in public California schools. I completed my doctoral internship at The School at Columbia University. I also worked for five years as a Research Associate at WestEd, supporting school climate, school mental health, and special education-related projects in school districts throughout the U.S.
